Dragon Ash will release a DVD video clip collection on Dec. 24. Details have yet to be announced, but the DVD should include videos from the band’s most recent album, Harvest, plus material released since the preceding video collection, Lily da Video.

Pop band Spitz will release a four-DVD box set of its best live performances from the past four years. Titled Hooro Hayabusa Junjoo Sugoroku, the limited edition set hits stores Dec. 17. Spitz recorded only two albums in that period but embarked on four different tours. Off-stage footage is included on each disc, and a 100-page booklet is planned to accompany the set.

Sugar Fields’ forthcoming album rainbow sports guest appearances by Suneo Hair and Quruli. The album will be released on Nov. 23 by Café Au Label. Suneo Hair worked with Sugar Fields’ previously on the band’s July 2002 album, Lemon Water. The indie folk-rock songwriter played organ and guitar on the album.

Quruli has added a second date at Zepp Tokyo for its “Hyakkyagyoo” tour. The Dec. 16 performance precedes the band’s all-night event at the venue. Mukai Shuutoku, Yugawa Chouon and DJ TSUCHIE also performs on that date.

Tommy February6, a.k.a. Kawase Tomiko of the brilliant green, has produced the debut single of 20-year-old singer Hinoi Asuka. “Wanna Be Your Girlfriend” will be released on Nov. 19 and features Tommy’s trademark 80s sound.

GICODE, featuring Jesse from RIZE and Sphere of Influence, releases its debut album on Nov. 19. The band’s pre-release single, “G-I-C-O-D-E”, was used as the theme song for the movie Guuzen ni mo Saiaku na Shoonen. GICODE’s sound has been described as a combination of hip-hop and rock. Sphere of Influence, meanwhile, releases its second album Trailblazah on Oct. 29.

Continuing her tradition of performing in churches, Hatakeyama Miyuki has scheduled a performance at the Shinagawa Church in Tokyo. The concert, titled “Wild and Gentle Live”, happens in the “Gloria Chapel” on Nov. 28, according to the singer’s official web site. Hatakeyama will also perform with Double Famous on Nov. 1.
Double Famous recently released Live in Japan, with Hatakeyama contributing vocals. Hatakeyama also releases a 10-inch vinyl version of her latest album, Wild and Gentle, on Oct. 1.

Quruli has posted dates of its upcoming “Hyakyagyoo” tour on its official site. In addition to playing the same venue as last year’s tour, Quruli will hold an all-night event in Tokyo. Additional artists for this event have not yet been announced. Web sales for tickets start on Oct. 6.

L’Arc~en~Ciel singer Hyde will release a new solo album on Dec. 3. Initial pressings of the album will include a DVD of the pre-release singles, “Hello” and “Horizon”. Later in the month, Hyde’s parent band releases a new DVD titled 7. Documenting the band’s reunion tour in earlier in 2003, the DVD hits stores Dec. 17. L’Arc~en~Ciel also announced the release of a new album next spring.

Shiina Ringo’s performance at Budokan will be the subject of a new DVD to be released on Dec. 17. The concert was Shiina’s concluding performance of her most recent tour. During that performance, the artist announced the release of a new single, “Ringo no Uta”, which will contain a DVD of the song’s promo clip. (Nov. 25 is also the singer’s birthdate.)
